Delhi MCD orders citywide cooling measures as heatwave fears rise this summer

Sanitation shifts and ward alerts are being reshaped

With Delhi bracing for summer heat and possible heatwave conditions, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has issued an advisory to all departments. MCD will arrange cool drinking water, cooling facilities, and ORS kits, while rationalising sanitation staff working hours. Ward-level heatwave warnings will also be shared to protect residents and civic workers.
