Ward-level heatwave warnings will also be shared to protect residents and civic workers.
Pravesh Wahi, a BJP councillor from Rohini East, was elected Delhi MCD mayor with 156 votes in Wednesday’s mayoral election. The tally includes support from Indraprastha Vikas Party, highlighting the coalition math inside the electoral college. Monika Pant was named deputy mayor as the race was decided with a 137-vote cut-off from councillors, MLAs, and MPs.
