India plans 15 km of bullet train track every month under Vaishnaw timeline

India is speeding up bullet train rollout, building 15 km of high-speed track every month, Ashwini Vaishnaw said. The first project is set to open in August next year, while future lines will rely on standardized components to scale local manufacturing. Seven new high-speed corridors are also planned across nearly 4,000 km, drawing major investment.
