Uttar Pradesh has approved a one-time three-year age relaxation for the 2025 direct recruitment of constables and equivalent roles. The move is designed to help fill 32,679 vacancies and brings back eligibility for candidates who were previously excluded for crossing age limits. The government says it will expand youth employment opportunities through the recruitment drive.
