She told police the assaults occurred when her mother was away, often while the father was drunk, and that resistance led to beatings and death threats. She alleges she became pregnant while in Class 9 and was forced to consume unidentified medicines to end the pregnancy. Police have arrested him under multiple laws, including POCSO, and she is receiving counselling.
