AMMK founder TTV Dhinakaran has expelled the party’s sole MLA, S Kamaraj, after he chose to support the ruling TVK government unilaterally. Dhinakaran called the move a betrayal of party workers and voters, removing the MLA from all party positions and primary membership. The fallout follows Dhinakaran’s earlier allegations of horse trading by TVK.
