Ahead of West Bengal assembly election results, security has been heightened across several strongrooms in Kolkata, with heavy forces deployed around key storage facilities including a government girls school in Bhabanipur. Police protection was also increased outside the Chief Electoral Officer’s office and the Falta assembly constituency, where locals protested alleged threats and beatings by TMC leaders.
