The Indian Biogas Association (IBA) is pushing for a 10% compulsory blending target of fermented organic manure (FOM) with chemical fertilizers by 2030. The plan is designed to improve India’s soil health through a phased mandate, gradually integrating FOM into current farming inputs rather than replacing them abruptly.
AgriTech startup Cropcoin Technologies, also known as Pehle Jaisa, has raised Rs 12 crore in a pre-Series A round. The fresh capital will fund expansion across Bihar and Jharkhand, accelerate development of bio-category soil health products, and support new infrastructure. The company’s goal is ambitious: reach Rs 100 crore annual recurring revenue within 24 months.
