Skoda Auto Volkswagen India has inaugurated a new 33,000 sq. ft. R&D wing at its Technology Centre Pune. The expansion is designed to position the facility as a global R&D hub, while improving localization for Indian needs and strengthening support for export markets. The group also expects the added capacity to accelerate automotive innovation.
Skoda Auto India is partnering with Common Services Centre Grameen eStore to extend car inquiry and booking services into non-metropolitan and semi-urban areas. The move is designed to reduce access barriers for customers outside major cities and bring Skoda’s vehicles closer to more people across India, strengthening a more inclusive mobility ecosystem.
