Uber says it wants to repurpose data from its vast network of drivers to help train and test self-driving systems. CTO Praveen Neppalli Naga revealed the idea at TechCrunch’s StrictlyVC event, describing it as an extension of an early initiative announced in late January called AV Labs. The move aims to accelerate real-world sensing for autonomous companies.
