San Antonio Police say officers responded to a reported vehicle fire behind a warehouse early Friday morning and found two young children dead inside the burned car. The children, believed to be ages five and seven, were discovered in Richland Hills on the west side after a passerby noticed the flames. Police identified the suspect as Marlene Vidal, 34, of Edinburg, and charged her with capital murder. Investigators are interviewing family members and others, noting indications of mental health issues but no confirmed motive.
