Indian Army troops in Samba seized a suspicious scooter parked near the gate of a vital installation late Friday night, triggering an immediate security alert. Security forces cordoned off the area and sent a police team from Samba Police Station to investigate and verify the vehicle. The driver, reportedly unidentified, managed to abscond, raising concerns that it could be linked to a larger threat.
A balloon-like object shaped like a plane was found in agricultural fields in Ramgarh, Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir near Path Seekers School, officials said. Local residents reported it to police, and investigators are examining preliminary signs that suggest the balloon may have originated across the border in Pakistan. Further checks are underway.
