The long-awaited Missing Link on the Mumbai Pune Expressway will open to traffic on May 1, 2026. This 13.3 km bypass is expected to cut Mumbai Pune travel time by 20 to 30 minutes, reduce congestion on the ghat sections, and make weekend drives to Karjat, Lonavala, and Neral significantly easier for regular commuters and families.
