Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced a major housing and connectivity push for Jammu and Kashmir. He said nearly five lakh families living in kuchha houses will be provided pucca homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The plan also includes improved road connectivity and expanded initiatives aimed at strengthening women’s empowerment, with projects worth thousands of crores.
