A fire broke out in two AC coaches of the Hyderabad–Jaipur Special Express at Nampally Railway Station on Friday evening, triggering panic as the train prepared to leave for Jaipur. Authorities said the blaze was limited to the B1 and B2 coaches in the 3-tier AC compartment. Officials confirmed no passengers were on board those affected coaches, allowing staff to evacuate nearby compartments while firefighters brought the situation under control using three fire engines.
