Inorbit Malls plans to acquire two malls from Prozone Group in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar and Coimbatore for about Rs 1,300 crore. The purchase will add roughly 1.2 million square feet to Inorbit’s retail footprint, strengthening its ability to compete with larger national players. The company is also banking on continued demand for retail assets in tier two cities.
