Post-election violence broke out in West Bengal on Tuesday, with police reporting the deaths of a BJP worker in New Town and a TMC worker in Birbhum. Incidents of arson and vandalism were also reported at TMC offices. BJP state chief Samik Bhattacharya called for a shift in political culture and vowed zero tolerance for violence.
