The Delhi High Court has ruled in favor of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, protecting his personality rights against an AI-generated deepfake video that falsely showed him praising Pakistan. The court directed X to remove the video, barred misuse of Tharoor’s name, image and voice, and instructed Meta to keep specific Instagram reels inaccessible.
