A Special NDPS court in Kutch sentenced six Pakistani nationals to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment each and Rs 2 lakh fines for smuggling 76.936 kg of heroin worth about Rs 384.68 crore. The case arose from a Karachi-linked vessel, Al Husseini, intercepted off Jakhau in December 2021, after nearly four years of legal proceedings.
