A young person has died following an early-morning single-vehicle crash in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia. Two other youths were injured and taken to responders at the scene on Ostrea Lake Road. Emergency services arrived quickly, and the road was temporarily closed while investigators work to determine what led to the crash.

A two-vehicle collision on Highway 2 in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, left one man dead and three others injured. A house fire in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, killed three adults early Saturday morning. Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with the April 13 fatal shooting of Chris Leggett in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Michael James Ryan, 34, was taken into custody in Moncton on April 23. Two other suspects, Sean Eugene Patriquin and Natasha Deborah Austin, were arrested earlier. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to piece together the case.
