Former badminton star Jwala Gutta says she donated about 60 litres of breast milk to government hospitals in Hyderabad and Chennai within her first year after childbirth. In a post on X, she explained that even small quantities of donor milk can feed premature, low-birthweight babies for days while supplying crucial immunity and nutrition. She added that donor human milk is proven to reduce Necrotizing Enterocolitis, a severe gut condition. Gutta urged others to contact local hospitals and support milk banks.
