The government has approved India’s first “desi” semi high-speed rail corridor under the Namo Bharat Train operations. The 134 km broad-gauge project will use indigenous technology and connect Dholera SIR with Ahmedabad, Dholera Airport, and Lothal NHMC. Designed for 220 kmph with operations at 200 kmph, it will feature 13 stations.
