Maharashtra is rolling out a new government recruitment system to fill more than 70,000 posts in phases. The Maharashtra Public Service Commission will manage around 50,000 recruitments, while eligibility and skill-based decisions are set to become central to the process. The state expects greater transparency and efficiency, with a governance reform model taking shape within a year.
