U.S. Africa Command says two American service members taking part in the African Lion 2026 exercises are missing in southwestern Morocco. The incident happened Saturday evening near the Cap Draa Training Area close to Tan Tan on the Atlantic coast. Initial reports state the men were off duty and hiking when they went into the ocean, prompting an ongoing search.
