SEBI has formed a new cybersecurity task force, cyber-suraksha.ai, to assess risks posed by AI models such as Anthropic’s Mythos. The regulator will create uniform mitigation measures, share threat intelligence, track incidents, and review third-party providers’ cybersecurity posture. SEBI’s advisory urges rapid patching, AI-led vulnerability assessments, stronger API controls, monitoring, and preparation for AI-driven detection and agentic mitigation.
