India Basketball League has announced eight foundation cities for the country’s first professional basketball league. Six of these will compete in the inaugural season planned for early 2027, and fans will help select the final lineup. The league’s mission is to fast-track homegrown talent for major international events including the FIBA Asia Cup and the Olympics.
