China plans to facilitate travel for 1,000 Indian pilgrims to the Kailash Mansarovar yatra in Xizang, with the pilgrimage scheduled for June to August 2026. The Ministry of External Affairs said it is being organised by India in coordination with the Government of China. Chinese officials hailed the resumption, framing it as a bridge of faith and friendship.
