A groom was shot dead during a wedding procession in Uttar Pradesh’s Kheta Sarai area after his marriage was opposed. Police say the bride’s relative, Pradeep Bind, opened fire with an accomplice. The victim’s father, Ram Lakhan Bind, claims the accused had previously targeted them, citing an earlier assault that left him disabled before the latest killing.
