Indian Railways has kicked off a nationwide revamp of Shatabdi Express and Jan Shatabdi Express trains to boost passenger comfort. The upgrade focuses on better seating, modern toilets, improved ride quality, refreshed interiors and stronger digital systems. Zonal railways are now required to inspect the coaches and submit time-bound action plans to ensure the changes are delivered quickly.
