President Trump said the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner shooting suspect was a “would-be assassin” armed with multiple weapons. He identified the attacker as Cole Tomas Allen, who was caught after shooting an officer protected by a bulletproof vest. Trump, who was not injured, called the attacker a lone wolf and pledged the event will return, safer and rescheduled.
