Amazon has expanded its Amazon Future Engineer (AFE) scholarship program in India by adding 500 new scholarships for 2026, supporting 2,000 active scholars overall. Eligible women pursuing B.E./B.Tech in CS or allied branches from low-income backgrounds receive ₹2 lakh over four years, plus a laptop, training, mentorship, webinars, and an eight-week paid internship after their second year.
XLRI’s Class of 2027 posted strong summer internship results, with an average stipend of Rs 1.6 lakh per month and a median of Rs 1.55 lakh. The highest domestic offer touched Rs 3.5 lakh per month from JP Morgan Chase. Across its flagship programmes, the placements underscore the institute’s track record of preparing students for leadership in a fast-moving market.
