Ghaziabad is proposing a new 16-kilometre metro corridor, with the Ghaziabad Development Authority asking Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to prepare a project report. The line would connect Vaishali in Ghaziabad to Gokulpuri in northeast Delhi, passing through Hindon Civil Terminal—positioned as Delhi NCR’s second airport.
