The Narcotics Control Bureau Imphal Zonal Unit, with Assam Rifles and Manipur Police, seized heroin worth ₹8.5 crore in Churachandpur district. Two people were arrested during the operation. Investigators said the drugs originated from Myanmar, targeting trafficking routes along the Indo-Myanmar border. Authorities say further action will continue to make Manipur drug free.
