Northeast Frontier Railway has signed an MoU with IIT Guwahati to deploy an advanced camera system for continuous track monitoring. The setup uses specialized sensors alongside GPS for high accuracy, enabling real-time detection of track issues. Railway officials say it will help prevent safety risks while improving operational efficiency and strengthening passenger protection across the network.
