Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, still shooting despite wrap-up on key scenes, has been hit by tragedy at Adityaram Film City on Chennai’s East Coast Road. A 28-year-old electrician, Karthikeyan from Salem, was electrocuted while working for the film unit, and died after being rushed to hospital. Kanathur Police are investigating whether proper safety measures were followed. The incident also arrives as the makers consider a September 2026 release, now targeting Krishna Janmashtami.
