Google DeepMind has partnered with the creators of EVE Online to use the game’s sprawling simulation as a training ground for advanced AI tools. Researchers will run models inside a safe offline version of the game, reducing real-world risk while stress-testing performance. The deal also marks a shift for CCP Games, now operating as Fenris Creations.
