A 22-year-old passenger, Mahesh Kumar Chauhan, was detained at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport after security screening found a country-made pistol in his baggage. Chauhan was set to fly to Dubai. Airport authorities alerted police, and an Arms Act case has been registered. Investigations are ongoing.
