Violence erupted in Manipur on Friday as armed groups from rival tribal communities clashed in Ukhrul district. Three people were killed in two separate firing incidents, including the deaths of volunteers during a full-scale armed attack on a village. Houses were also set ablaze, displacing residents who staged protests demanding intervention.
