A Panipat couple died by suicide after months of alleged harassment by their daughter-in-law and her family, police say. Authorities are investigating how the couple’s love marriage deteriorated amid reported lifestyle clashes and the daughter-in-law’s social media behavior. The family claims bullying and assault pushed them to extreme distress, and cases have been registered against four people for abetment to suicide.
