SAP plans to acquire Dremio to strengthen its Business Data Cloud and accelerate agentic AI. The deal is expected to close in Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approval. SAP will embed an Apache Iceberg native lakehouse to unify SAP and non-SAP data for real-time, governed analytics—reducing fragmentation and integration friction. Financial terms were not disclosed.
