Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the first phase of Census-2027, the Houselisting and Housing Census that will map homes and assets across the state. Residents can self-enumerate digitally from May 7 to May 21, 2026, before census teams conduct door-to-door surveys. For the first time, caste enumeration is included and forest villages are counted.
