IUML’s Kallatra Mahin won decisively in Kasaragod in the 2026 election, securing 76,396 votes. BJP candidate Ashwini M L finished second with a margin of more than 22,000 votes. The result also saw an independent candidate attract notable support, underscoring a closely contested, diverse border constituency.
