Bengaluru saw intense rainfall, thunderstorms and hail, bringing relief from the heat. The IMD has issued an orange alert for parts of Karnataka, forecasting heavy showers and gusty winds up to 60 kmph for the next two days. In the city, additional rounds of showers with thunderstorms may continue until tomorrow, May 2.
