The Delhi High Court ruled that bank accounts cannot be frozen when there is no FIR. In a case where a private account was frozen on a Gujarat Cyber Crime Police complaint, the court ordered the bank to immediately unfreeze it, saying an unjustified freeze disrupts the right to life and basic economic existence.
