Jaguar Land Rover India has been ordered by Uttarakhand’s Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to refund Rs 1.65 crore to a buyer in Roorkee. The panel found manufacturing defects, unauthorized structural changes, and performance that didn’t match advertised claims—calling it deceptive and unfair trade practice. The company must refund and return the vehicle.
