Defence tech startup Armory has secured an INR 100 crore order from India’s Ministry of Defence for its AI-powered SURGE counter-unmanned aircraft system. After field trials, SURGE will be produced and deployed to detect, identify and neutralise rogue drones using real-time adaptive denial against non-standard frequencies. The deal reflects a push for faster, outcome-driven procurement and domestic innovation.
