Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has reconstituted four major parliamentary committees that will function through the 2026-27 financial year. While the panels have been reorganized, several senior leaders have retained their chairperson roles. Faggan Singh Kulaste continues as chair of the Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and Baijayant Jay Panda remains at the helm of the Committee on Public Undertakings.
