Ahead of West Bengal polls Phase II, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath claimed the state would be “freed” from a “syndicate” he associates with Trinamool Congress, Congress and communist parties. Speaking in North 24 Parganas, he also praised Bengal’s historical and cultural influence, linking its legacy to India’s national identity and framing his remarks as a political push for the elections.
