Newly elected Tamil Nadu MLAs are taking their oath at the Chennai Secretariat as the 17th Legislative Assembly prepares to convene for its inaugural session. The Pro Tem Speaker will administer oaths to all elected members, marking the start of the new term following the electoral success of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay has assumed his duties.
