Residents of Jaypee Greens in Greater Noida say fear has become routine after Delhi University professor Prof. Sangeeta Sharma was seriously injured in a fall while trying to escape a pack of aggressive stray dogs. Her family alleges four to five dogs chased her near her home, and a close approach caused her to lose balance. With a prior knee surgery and existing spinal issues, the impact worsened her condition. They blame inaction from society management despite repeated complaints and court directions, including issues around feeding rules.
